Milan is the new direct flight from Skopje — shopping, art and cuisine just two hours away. Here is what you need to know before you book.

  • 4 flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)

The flight lands at Milan Bergamo (Orio al Serio, BGY) — about 50–60 minutes by bus from central Milan, which is standard for low-cost routes.

Visa and documents

North Macedonian citizens with a biometric passport travel to Italy visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period (Schengen). Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after your return.

Getting to the centre

From Bergamo Airport (BGY) to Milan’s main station Milano Centrale:

When to go

Milan is a year-round destination. Spring and autumn are best for sightseeing. In winter the city is famous for strong sales (January), and fashion weeks take place in autumn and spring.
