Visa and documents
Macedonian citizens travel to Poland visa-free for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, but the visa-free regime applies only to holders of a biometric passport (Regulation (EU) 2018/1806, Annex II). Macedonia has issued biometric passports since April 2007, so every valid Macedonian passport today is biometric. The passport must be valid for at least three months after the planned return.
Why Wroclaw
Wroclaw is often called the “city of 12 islands” — five rivers cross it, linked by over 100 bridges. It is a city with remarkably preserved architecture, big student energy and one of Europe’s most famous market square scenes. - Centennial Hall (Jahrhunderthalle) — UNESCO-listed, an early work of reinforced concrete
When to go
Best period: May–August — pleasant temperatures (15–25°C) and long days. Autumn and winter months are cloudier, but Wroclaw is known for one of the best Christmas markets in Poland in December.
